It’s so exciting when young and old are able to worship God together, with songs that each can relate to and sing with meaning. That’s always been the vision for us as we’ve put together this album. Over years of leading worship, we’ve witnessed how children often disengage in traditional times of sung worship, while adults tend to sit down once the child-friendly action songs begin!
Becky leads worship with Nick at their home church St.Paul’s Hammersmith, London. She has spent the past six years working in PR and communications in the city before becoming a full time mum to Daisy Bee Drake.
Before moving to London, Becky was a singer with Christian pop/rock band Coastal Dune for three years, and also worked with children across the curriculum leading drama workshops and storytelling in schools.

So, in writing Big Family of God, our aim has been to try and bridge that gap and write something that will appeal in one way or another to everyone. Some of the songs will stand out more to younger children, while other tracks are more meditative and may appeal to an older listener. But our hope and prayer is that overall these songs will unite the family of God and be a fresh and useful resource for churches and schools across the country.
For the seven five years, Nick has been Director of Music and Creative Arts at St Paul's Hammersmith. He is responsible for the sung worship life of the church.
Nick has been involved in worship since the age of 14 where he started playing guitar in the youth group of his local church. Since then, he has led worship in a number of churches and events, including Easter People, New Wine, and Share Jesus initiatives. He was guitarist in Christian band Coastal Dune for three years and has also played guitar in London band Paperadio.
Besides being a musician, Nick studied Theology at Durham University and has recently completed an MA in Systematic Theology at Kings College London.
